A time for gratitude

By Mary Friedel-Hunt

The tree in my front yard is one that so many people in town really like. It is just now beginning its autumn display of beauty as the leaves slowly change from green to shades of red and orange. Right now many of the leaves are multicolored as they retain much of their green and as reds and oranges creep in along the edges. It is truly magnificent.

As I drove into Madison twice today, thanks to forgetting something I needed for a party I am having tomorrow, I noticed so much beauty along the way. Leaves are changing, corn is pretty well done offering corn mazes here and there before it is plowed under.
