To face the future

By Mary Friedel-Hunt

It is over — finally. I am writing this on Nov. 4 and have no clue who won the election. I have my hopes, of course. As we all sigh in relief that the ads will disappear, the debates are behind us, and the chat (spin) will now focus on the winners and how we think they will affect our country. Whether your candidates lost or won, it would be great if the divisions, back-biting and even hatred could be put away so that we can all focus on making this country the best it can be. But of course, that will probably never happen.
