Deer hunters should inspect cabin heating systems: WPS

As deer hunters are slated to take up part-time residency in shelters for the next few weeks, Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) issued some safety reminders for those using heating systems.

Since carbon monoxide (CO) can build up if heating equipment is not operating efficiently, WPS advised that systems in cabins, campers, tents or shanties should be carefully inspected to ensure proper working condition and proper venting.
