Conservation Warden Gary Eddy recently reminded hunters using all-terrain vehicles (ATV) to get to remote areas to think of safety when using these motorized workhorses, making sure only to operate the machines where authorized.

Eddy, who also serves as the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) ATV safety administrator, said the ATV and the utility-terrain vehicle (UTV) are becoming more popular with hunters.
