WTC donations hit halfway point PDF Print E-mail

Donations to Warm The Children, a program sponsored by the Vilas County News-Review to provide winter clothing for needy children, have now reached approximately 54% toward its 2012 fundraising goal, according to News-Review Publisher Kurt Krueger.

“We need to collect an additional $29,689 in donations in order to meet our goal of $65,000,” he said.

People donate for many different reasons, according to Sharina Adams, program coordinator.

“In the past, for example, we have received donations from foundations and matching-funds programs,” she said. “People also donate in memory or in honor of loved ones.

“We are very thankful for every donation, no matter how large or small.”

Donations may be made by mailing them to Vilas County News-Review, P.O. Box 1929, Eagle River, WI 54521, or online at vcnews-review.com.
