In the span of only two days in early December, the town of Three Lakes learned it had been awarded more than $250,000 in new grants.

The latest awards include $229,172 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) for the town’s Safe Routes to School program and $27,250 from the Wisconsin Valley Improve­ment Company (WVIC) for reconstruction of the 7 Mile Lake boat landing.
