Lorraine Belke of Eagle River died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at her home. She was 83.Mrs. Belke was born July 22, 1929, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of James and Viola Giblin.
She moved to Eagle River in 1989 and became an owner and operator of Belke’s Char-Lou Supper Club on Otter Lake. She worked with her family there until 1996 and had a summer home in North Land O’Lakes.
Mrs. Belke was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur.
Survivors include three sons, Tim (Sueann) of Eagle River, Bruce (Celeste) of New Lenox, Ill., and Art of Janesville; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palos Hills, Ill. Visitation will preceed the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Ill.
