Packers, Badgers keep football on top

By Gary Ridderbusch

The Green Bay Packers and University of Wisconsin Badgers will keep things interesting for Wisconsin football fans into January.

The Packers, after a slow start, have improved to 9-4 and clinched the NFC North Division with a 21-13 victory over the Chicago Bears Sunday. With the playoffs just three weeks away, it looks like the Packers are peaking at the right time, much like they did in their Super Bowl run in 2010 following a 10-6 regular season.

If the Packers can continue to overcome a rash of injuries with solid play from a bunch of reserves, plus get some starters back in time for the play-offs, look for the Green and Gold to make a nice run in post-season play this year.
