Emil A. Zmek, age 91, World War II Navy veteran, beloved husband of the late Mary (née Rojek), loving father of the late Emil J. Zmek (Anne-Marie), proud grandfather of Jonathan (Maggie) and Emily (Jesse) Bettcher.

Fond brother of the late Joseph (the late Mary), the late James (the late Agnes), the late Elsie (the late Gilbert) Johnson, Lillian (the late Nick) Lupo, the late Charlie (the late Shirley).

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, Eagle River, Wis.
