Editor’s note: A portion of a letter from Charlie Gullan printed in the forum section of this newspaper Jan. 2 was inadvertently edited, which changed the meaning of a phrase. The corrected portion of the letter follows. Dear Editor: I would like to respond to the Mark Collins’ letter in the Dec. 26 issue of the Vilas County News-Review titled “County employees support communities.” Mr. Collins quotes me writing, “The public union employees would rather see our taxes raised to pay people for doing nothing productive while enjoying Cadillac benefits.” First, he misquoted me, I wrote “the public employees union,” etc. That has quite a different meaning, doesn’t it?
