|Jewel Mae Ratliff|
She was born on June 3, 1927, in White Lake, Wis., to Cleve and Amy Adkins.
Jewel loved reading and playing her organ; also loved to wear jewelry and the color red. She was a fun, loving and sassy woman who could light up a room at any time.
Jewel is survived by her eight children, Karen (Jim) Fondie, Sherry Perry, Larry Ratliff, Jerry (Joy) Ratliff, Gary Ratliff, Tammy Russo, Janine Ratliff and Patty Chlapecka; her 30 grandchildren, Henry, Tim, Shannon, Lisa, Scott, Chris, Amy, Pam, Angela, Kara, Kristy, Amanda, Erika, Rachuel, Tracy, Jason, Ciara, Stephanie, Lenny, Travis, Mark, Matthew, Dustin, Brandon, Lacey, Felicia, Cassy, Savannah, Allie and Paul; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil B.; infant son, Timmy; daughter, Judy; son, Cecil J.; and granddaughter, Melissa.
A funeral service was held Jan. 12, 2013, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, Wis.
Burial service will be May 16, at Eagle River Cemetery.
