Raymond H. Baer of Water­smeet, Mich., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. He was 86.

Mr. Baer was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Melrose Park, Ill., the son of John and Olga Baer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores; and his son, Robert.

Survivors include one son,  Jack; five daughters, Marsha, Lisa, Leslie, Julie and Marlene; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 12, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Eagle River. Burial will  take place in spring at Oak Hill Cemetery in Land O’ Lakes.
