The Phelps girls basketball team split a pair of Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) games after beating Three Lakes 29-23 last Monday and falling 38-35 to Laona Friday.

The Lady Knights also had a convincing 55-11 victory over Washington Island Saturday.

The game against Three Lakes was a defensive battle, according to Phelps coach Jason Pertile.
