Local resident donates to ERRA?scholarship

Gary Anderson of Eagle River has donated money to various causes throughout the past several years, using funds he collected after giving homemade pizzas to his family and friends.

Those receiving pizzas in turn make donations to him for causes needing support in the area.

This year, Anderson do­nated $1,000 to the Eagle River Recreation Association (ERRA) hockey program.

He had learned about a scholarship program in place to fully or partially cover the registration fees for families who
