The Three Lakes High School boys basketball team lost a nonconference battle 59-33 to Prentice last Thursday.

Although the Jays played well defensively, the team couldn’t get anything going offensively in the first half, as the Buccaneers built a sturdy 27-11 lead.

“We had a few breakdowns on our weak side that led to a few easy baskets for them,” said Three?Lakes coach Jack Wales. “What concerned me the most, was our hesitant play on offense. We have players who are passing up shots they should be shoot­ing.”
