By Gary Ridderbusch News-Review Editor The Northland Pines boys basketball team lost to Lakeland 64-28 last Friday night, but Eagles coach Ryan Clark said he saw some positive things that this players can build on. “We are a good shooting team, but had an off night,” said Clark. “Our shot selection was good and we shot with confidence, but just couldn’t get the shots to fall. We handled their press quite well, as we showed more confidence to attack their press rather than sitting back and being cautious. Defensively, our weak-side rotations were more consistent and as a result, we were in better position to secure the defensive rebound.” Lakeland took an 18-7 lead after one quarter and built a 30-11 |
