Falcons lose to Bears in?Great Lakes hockey

The Eagle River Falcons and the Fond du Lac Bears faced off in Great Lakes Hockey League action last Friday night.

The Bears who had lost early in the season to the Falcons would gain a split by downing the short-handed Falcons 9-3 on their home ice.

After nearly 16 minutes of scoreless play in the first period, the Bears scored at the 3:58 mark to take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Eagle River’s D.J. Drayna got it back to even at one apiece, scoring unassisted
