Three Lakes boys win pair of NLC basketball games

The Three Lakes Bluejays boys basketball team went 2-1 in Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) games last week after falling 63-35 to Crandon Monday, beating Elcho 46-41 Thursday and defeating Florence 52-46 Friday.

Despite suffering from the lingering effects of a flu that had ravaged the locker room earlier in the week, the Jays fared well against the Florence Bobcats.

Three Lakes, playing hesitantly, found themselves down 34-24 after three quarters of play.
