Eagles beat Watersmeet, but fall to tough Raiders

The Northland Pines boys basketball team picked up its second victory of the season, topping Watersmeet, Mich., 59-44, in a nonconferene game last Tuesday.

“This was a nice game to give everyone some playing time,” said Pines coach Ryan Clark.

Pines outscored the Nimrods 33-10 in the second and fourth quarters, but Watersmeet outscored the Eagles 34-26 in the first and third quarters.
