|Vilas eyes wider snowmobile trails|

While there is agreement wider snowmobile trails would improve safety, there is no consensus on who should pay for it.
That was the discussion at the Vilas County Forestry and Land Committee meeting last week.
Committee Chairman Ralph Sitzberger told other supervisors it was time for the Forestry Department, along with Parks and Recreation, to start spending money to make trails wider.“They are too narrow,
