Three Pines teams compete in conference championships PDF Print E-mail

By Ella Baltus

Three Northland Pines winter athletic teams are in the running to become Conference Champions this season.

With a current in conference record of 13-0 the Northland Pines boys hockey team has become the Great Northern Conference Champions once again.

For the first time, the girls basketball team cracked state rankings this season, coming in at number 10 in D3. The team

is also one game away from claiming the Great Northern Conference Championship.

In addition, the Girls Hockey Team is on their way to glory — just a few games away from being Conference Champions.

It’s a great year to be a member or supporter of the Northland Pines Eagles. These three outstanding sport teams still need support from their loyal fans. Games are open to the public, and all community members are welcome to attend.

The Eagles are looking to add three conference trophies to their collection this winter, as playoffs begin Monday, Feb. 18.

Schedules of all Northland Pines teams can be found at greatnorthernconference.org.
