The Eagle River Figure Skating Club presented its 58th annual ice show Saturday and Sunday at the Sports Arena. The show had a country theme. The skaters performed to “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” by Brooks and Dunn. It was the show theme.

The Eagle River Figure Skating Club presented its annual shows at the Eagle River Sports Arena Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The theme was “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.”

Land O’ Lakes gives approval to ATV routes

LAND O’ LAKES — An overflow crowd at the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall observed the town board approve on a vote of 2-1 to allow all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) on town roads within the sanitary district. 

Phelps voters pass school referendum

Voters in the Phelps School District easily approved a referendum last Tuesday to allow the school board to exceed the revenue limit  by $1,182,000 each of the next six years.

Legislation repealed for state newspapers

Gov. Scott Walker signed into law Assembly Bill 11 last week, repealing an outdated requirement that has been troublesome for newspaper publishers for years.
