Local sculptor visits Pines

Artist Brad Samuelson, a professional bronze sculptor and Northland Pines graduate, visited Pines students recently.

Samuelson brought many pieces of his artwork into Bev Niehaus’ art room to share with the students and staff, including a seven-foot replica of the commissioned sculpture of Skip Wagner which stands in downtown Three Lakes.

Nearly 300 students in fifth through 12th grades participated in his workshop, and were intrigued by the bronze sculptures. This hands-on learning workshop allowed the students to see, touch and experience
