Eagles give up four power-play goals

Loss to Point in Sectional semi ends Pines’ season

Special teams were the difference as Stevens Point used four power-play goals and a short-handed goal to beat Northland Pines 5-1 in a WIAA Sectional semifinal boys hockey game at K.B. Willett Arena last Tuesday.

Pines, seeded third in the Sectional, also lost  to second-seeded Stevens Point 2-1 during the regular season.
