The Phelps Lady Knights basketball team finished its regular season last Monday with a close 30-28 win over Northern Lakes Conference rival team Goodman-Pembine.

After the first quarter the teams were tied at six points apiece. Then, Goodman-Pembine began to slow the game down even further, taking a 12-8 halftime lead.

“They took the air out of the ball by having really good possessions,” said Phelps coach Jason Pertile.
