Jim Tameling of Sayner, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 53.

Mr. Tameling was born in Rhinelander, May 29, 1959, the son of Henry and Charlotte Tameling.

He attended schools in Eagle River, graduating in 1978. After graduation, he worked with his father and brothers at the construction business in Sayner.

Tameling was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sayner, and of Ducks Unlimited. His hobbies in­cluded playing softball, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve.

Survivors include his brothers, Dennis (Linda), Thomas (LindaWaddell), and Rick, all of Sayner; his twin sister, Jean (Bob) of Wauwa­tosa and sister, Joyce (Rick) Tannenbaum of Fletcher N.C., sister-in-law, Peggy Tameling of Sayner, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sayner. Condolences may be expressed online at gaffney-busha.com.
