Ministry to hold hospice training

Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services will provide their free six-week volunteer training Wednesdays, April 3 to May 8, from 9 a.m. until noon at their office located at 1864 N. Stevens St. in Rhinelander.

This comprehensive training provides the foundation of knowledge and skills needed to provide support to patients and their families. Ongoing support and training opportunities are provided throughout the volunteer’s tenure.

Hospice volunteers are currently needed throughout the Rhinelander, Tomahawk and Crandon region. Volunteers provide support to hospice patients and their loved ones in their homes, nursing homes and other residential-care facilities. There are also
