Fee planned at boat landing in Three Lakes

Town of Three Lakes officials have announced that  launch fees for the Townline Lake public boat landing will be in effect during the 2013 boating season.

Fees are $5 per launch or $30 for an annual launch pass. Fees must be paid either at the launch ramp or at the Three Lakes town office.

According to Town Clerk Susan Harris, the fees being implemented were

Wonder how long it will take for this $5/$30 fee structure to turn into something like $10/$50 for Three Lakes residents and $20/$100 for non-residents? It's stuff like this that makes tourists to decide to go elsewhere.

Wow, for a town so concerned about bringing in business they approve ATVs. Now they want to drive away business by charging to put your boat in their lakes. Who's running that town! Also tribe is making it a whole one walleye on Three Lakes Chain. Time to stop supporting casino!
