| Pines to adust schedule due to three snow days |

By Gary Ridderbusch News-Review Editor Because the Northland Pines School District has called off classes on three inclement weather days, the schedule will be adjusted at the high school and middle school to make up for missed classroom time. District Administrator Mike Richie said schools are required by the Department of Public Instruction to have 180 days of school scheduled and students must meet for at least 175 of those days. “We meet this requirement; however, we also must meet the minimum number of instructional hours,” said Richie. “Prekindergarten students must meet for 437 hours, K-six students must meet for 1,050 hours, and grades seven-12 students must meet for |
