Town of Washington
rejects north route plan

While the Three Lakes Town Board has authorized all-terrain vehicle (ATV) routes on its town roads, the Nicolet ATV Club met one roadblock last week in its attempt to develop a trail that will take riders to communities to the east.
The town of Washington in Vilas County rejected a club proposal at a town board meeting last Monday that would allow ATV riders to utilize Dam Road and Ninemile Road in Washington to access Military Road on a route north of Three Lakes.
