Pines girls get third at indoor track meet

Breaking three indoor school records in the process, the Northland Pines High School girls track team took third place at its third meet of the season last Tuesday.

West Iron County, Mich. won the meet with 98 points, followed by Kingsford, Mich. with 84 points, Pines with 77.5, Ashland with 45.5 and Prentice with 25.

“This was a great meet for the team and we’re starting to get an idea of where our team strengths and weaknesses are,” said Pines coach Josh Rhode.
