Alice in Wonderland musical staged at Three Lakes High PDF Print E-mail

The Three Lakes High School Drama Department will stage the musical “Alice in Wonderland: Through a Steampunk Glass” this Friday through Sunday, April 5-7.

This musical combines the work of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass” set to music by Stone Sour, The Beatles, Christina Aguilera, The Doors, The Who and Queen.

Alice will be played by Three Lakes sophomore Breanna Gartner, who will wander through Wonderland meeting all the usual characters along the way, including the White Rabbit, The Caterpillar, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare.

Also featured will be the singing flowers, the Dormouse and the Kind and Queen of Hearst with their retinue.

Play performance times are April 5 at 7 p.m.; April 6 at 7 p.m.; and April 7 at 3 p.m.

Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for students and children younger than 12 will be admitted free of charge.
