Roggensack wins High Court race

Spring election sees voter turnout at 19%

State Supreme Court Justice Patience Roggensack easily won a second term in last Tuesday’s election, beating Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone.

Roggensack, 72, of Madison, received 57% of the vote statewide to Fallone’s 43%.

Vilas County voters also gave the nod to Roggensack, as she won in all 15 precincts. The total margin in Vilas was 3,162 to 1,455.

In Oneida County, Roggensack won in 26
