|Cloverland eyes town ordinance for sex offenders|
An ordinance being considered by the town of Cloverland to restrict locations where registered sex offenders could reside was discussed last week at a joint meeting of the town board and town Plan Committee.
The action comes after a convicted sex offender was placed in a rental home on Chickaree Drive off River Road by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC).
Attorney Steve Garbowicz was at the meeting to answer questions and comment on the proposed ordinance language. He said there were about 50 communities in Wisconsin that have some type of similar ordinance.His first concern was enforceability since
