Chequamegon-Nicolet to celebrate 80th year

The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) is celebrating its 80th year with a free open-to-the-public event Thursday, April 25, 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rhinelander Supervisor’s Office at 500 Hanson Lake Road.

Artist Ruth Lull, associate professor of art from Northland College will show her exhibit of art work titled “Retrospective of the Che­qua­megon-Nicolet National Forest,” and give a presentation about how the CNNF has inspired her work.

Lull’s work includes natural settings in a variety of forms ranging from oil paintings to drawings.

CNNF will also premiere  promotional videos
