|Life Line screenings set May 2|
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church recently announced it will host a Life Line screening event for residents in and around the Eagle River area Thursday, May 2, at the church, located at 5030 Highway 70 W. in Eagle River.
For those living in and around the Three Lakes area, a Life Line screening event will be held Monday, May 6, at the Reiter Center, located at 1858 Michigan St.
Life Line screenings aim to reduce the risk of stroke by identifying potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease.A bone-density screening is also
