|Pines falls to Medford in baseball opener|

The Northland Pines baseball team finally got on the field this spring — after having nine games cancelled due to poor weather and field conditions — playing three games last week.
The Eagles traveled to Medford for a doubleheader last Tuesday, losing 10-4 in game one and 12-0 in game two. The second game was called due to darkness before it became official.
In the opener, the Eagles’ Blake Molkentine led the way at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. T.J. Harsla added a double and three RBIs and Brandon Wallace added a double with one RBI. Jacob Schlitt reached base four times, scored two runs and had two stolen bases.Brandon Wallace pitched a
