|Runners deserve fan support at park|

Spectators are being urged to come out to Riverview Park in Eagle River to cheer on the runners in the 17th annual Journeys Marathon this Saturday, May 11.
The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center has announced that more than 800 runners from more than a dozen states have already registered for the Journeys Marathon, to be held on the back roads of Vilas County.Journeys Marathon will spring into action Friday night, May 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. with runners registrations at Northland Pines High School. An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for age 6- to 12-year-olds and free to those 5 and
