Chamber sets arts festival

The Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced it will host the June Bloom Arts and Crafts Festival Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, in Torpy Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The festival will showcase more than 50 artisans and crafters from the Midwest. Vendors are selected for handmade craftsmanship and artistic talents.

Visitors will see original artwork, pottery, jewelry, tapestries, clothing, photography, wood creations, leather goods, metalwork and more.

“Craftsmen, artisans, music and concessions by the Forest Riders Snowmobile Club of Minocqua will make for a wonderful weekend on the shore of Lake Minocqua,” said a chamber spokesperson.
