Jeffrey Woodworth Sr., age 55, of Three Lakes, Wis., formerly of the Oconto, Wis., area, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Oconto on July 18, 1957, the son of Oren and Audrey (Brabant) Wood­worth. Jeff was raised and attended schools in Oconto.

He received his master’s degree in business administration from?Park College in Kansas City, Mo.

On April 24, 1976, he was married to Mary Cooper in Three Lakes.

Jeff entered the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1976 to 1989, as an MP and received the highest award for his marksmanship.

After retiring from the Marines he was employed by Gingiss Formal Wear in Green Bay, and also worked as a truck driver with his son, Peter.

Jeff and Mary moved to Three Lakes in 2008.

He enjoyed gardening and hunting.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Mary of Three Lakes; sons, Jeffrey Jr. of Oshkosh, Wis., and Peter of Three Lakes; parents, Oren and Audrey Woodworth of Oconto; brothers, Tim (Rita) of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and Steve (Janette) of Oconto; sisters, Judy (Skip) of Colissimo, N.D., Gail (Rick) Schneider of Oconto, and Patti-Jo (Jeff) Ernst of Oconto; four grandchildren; father-in-law, Peter Bonkowski of Three Lakes; brother-in-law, Phil Johnson of Three Lakes; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucy Bonkowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto. Burial followed in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Jeff. We lost contact through the years. Mary, please contact me so we can talk. Thought about the 2 of you over the years. Stopped in to see Peter a few years ago, you and Jeff were I think in Green Bay.
