Anna M. Leikus, a resident of Three Lakes,Wis., and formerly of Brighton Park in Chicago, Ill., died on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at her home with her family by her side
Anna enjoyed being around people and her family. She loved cooking, fishing, gardening, arts and crafts, along with the wildlife of the Northwoods. She was the resident expert when it came to wild mushrooms.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vladas (Walter), and a daughter, Stella.
Survivors include her children, Zita Kulekowskis (Jim), Violet Pingel (Gordon) and Betty (Birute)
Leikus; grandchildren, James Kulekowskis (Cynthia), Annemarie Wuertz (Michael), David Pingel, Amy Pingel, Timothy Pingel; and great-grandchildren, Madysen, Samantha, James, John, Frankie, Laila, Lanna and baby Matthew-to-be.
A memorial service for Anna will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1701 Superior St., Three Lakes.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W. 111th St., Chicago, Ill., on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
