The Public Health Subcommittee on Animal Control and Welfare requested a meeting on issues related to improving vaccination and registration procedures for dogs in Vilas County May 30 at Cloverland Town Hall.
Chaired by Gary Peske, the meeting brought together members of the subcommittee and those responsible for registering pets in the towns, usually treasurers and clerk/
treasurers.
The program was represented by Mary Platner, subcommittee secretary; Sherry Bierman of the Vilas Tax Listing Department; Gay Ketterer, former Cloverland treasurer; Kelly Dvorak, practice manager at Eagle River Animal Hospital; and Ed Evert, Conover animal
