The 20th anniversary Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB) event on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes Friday through Sunday brought 69 participants and more than 120 local volunteers together for a weekend of fishing.
“It was a perfect weekend highlighted by lots of fish, lots of hugs and lots of smiles,” said event Chairman Will Campbell. “The fishing was fantastic. The fishing started slow each day, but improved as the day went on.”
The event attracted people with disabilities from across the state, including Fond du Lac, Janesville, Highland Park, Ill., and Vilas and Oneida counties, ranging in age from 22 to 81.
