Robert J. ‘Robbie’ Holewinski PDF Print E-mail

Robert J. “Robbie” Hole­winski, age 50, of Eagle River, Wis., formerly of Sugar Camp, Wis., died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1962, in Rhinelander, Wis., the son of Leon and Florence (Boett­cher) Holewinski. Robbie was married to Heidi Wach­holz on Oct. 26, 2000, in Jamaica.

He was a builder by trade and a woodcarver. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing karaoke, hunting and fishing, and he was an avid snowmobiler.

Robbie Holewinski is survived by his wife Heidi, and son Cody of Eagle River; daughter Rachael (Larry) Tarrant of Excellsior Springs, Mo.; mother Floie Holewinski of Eagle River; brothers Leon “Snuffy,” Scott (Debbie), Michael (Vicki), Patrick (Chris), Gary (Anita) and John; sisters Susan Woods and Tammy (Wes) Levan; one grandson, Jacob, mother-in-law Gloria Wachholz of Osh­kosh, Wis.; brother-in-law Mark (Donna) Wachholz, sister-in-law Cindy Wachholz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Leon.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Eagle River. The Rev. William Trosien officiated. Burial was in Eagle River Cemetery.
