David Kuhn of Appleton and Kevin Laux of Oshkosh caught two fish that topped 40 inches to win the  33rd annual Spring Classic of Champions Muskie Tournament on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes last weekend.

The two anglers were part of a 74-team field that competed in the tournament, sponsored by the Headwaters Chapter of Muskies Inc.

The tourney paid $13,410 in cash prizes for first through 10th places, including $7,500 to Kuhn and Laux for taking home the championship.
