Lands’ End partners with forest to plant 288,000 jack pine trees

Lands’ End, through the National Forest Foundation, will plant 288,000 jack pines on the Washburn District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF).

It’s been 80 years since the first Civilian Conservation Corps camp in Wisconsin began on the newly established forest. The 190 young men at Camp Brinks built roads and planted trees on the barren landscape near Washburn.
