Warmer temperatures means better fishing

Summer may have finally arrived here in the North Woods. Hopefully, we can keep this warm weather around and leave our memories of a miserable spring behind us.

The warming water temperatures have dramatically improved fishing for many species over the past few days.

Muskie fishing has been improving a little as these fish are now mostly recovered from a late spawning season. The action will continue to improve as the water warms up and the increased metabolic rates will force the muskies to feed more aggressively.
