Nature program set at Demmer Library

Edward U. Demmer Memorial Library in Three Lakes will host a free nature program Wednesday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the library.

Participants will discover a few creatures found beneath the surface of the forest floor, including snakes, turtles and salamanders.

Jessica Hepker, a naturalist from Trees For Tomorrow, will discuss how herptiles can be indicators of rapid environmental change.
