|Assembly OKs crossbow bill: Senate is next|
Rep. Mary Czaja (R-Irma) applauded the passage of Assembly Bill 194 last week, legislation that will allow for the expanded use of crossbows.
The bill as authored by Czaja and passed 95-0.
The proposal would lift the current age and disability restrictions on crossbow use, and establishes a season to run concurrently to the traditional archery season.
Czaja said this follows a growing trend nationwide, where 29 other states already allow for the expanded use of crossbows.
