Five Pines staff members retire

Employees had over 100 years in education

The Northland Pines School District saw five staff members, who had a combined 84 years of education experience, retire at the end of the 2012-’13 school year.

The retiring teachers include Carmen Domek from Eagle River Elementary School, Joyce Jeschke from  St. Germain Elementary School, Pamela Heeg from Northland Pines High School, district speech therapist Kris Molinaro and paraprofessional Lorie Kosir.

The employees’ longevity with the district spanned from three to 23 years, though several had experience beyond the Northland Pines School District.

Domek was a music teacher in the school district for the past 22 years. She taught band and choir classes at the high school from 1991 to 1999 and general music at Eagle River Elementary School from 1993 to 2013. Prior to coming to Northland Pines, Domek taught band, choir and drama at Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum, Colo.,
